One of my very favorite restaurants. Quantity and quality great.
Saturday night as we walked to the entry door a first time diner was exclaiming to a friend outside the door: " This is the best buffet I ever saw! First you get a fresh, plentiful salad bar, then four entrees. I served myself wonderful roast beef and the most aromatic pork, fried fish, looked further and saw huge pieces of perfectly fried chicken. Hot vegetables, so many they had to place mashed potatoes and fresh green beans on a separate table with desserts but then there was still Brunswick Stew! How do they do this? And the service was perfect!
The food, service and atmosphere are always great. If I'm at the lake on Saturday night, I'll definitely be at Kennon House. It's one of my all time favorite restaurants.
